PAINTINGS IN ACRYLICS

I find acrylics to be

highly versatile.

It has five characteristics:

opaqueness; flow; sheen; transparency

and tactile quality.

When required, an additive could

make the painting surface shimmer, crackle, assume transparency, increase opaqueness

or take on the translucence of water colour.

These behavioural qualities of the

medium, permit the artist to define

the expressive nuances for

the spirit of the painting.
